Statement / Bio
My recent books have been translations of Japanese poetry, from the Heian Period ( https://www.amazon.com/One-Hundred-Poems-Old-Japan/dp/4805319232/ ) to senryu poetry written by Japanese-Americans during World War II ( https://www.amazon.com/They-Never-Asked-Portland-Assembly/dp/0870712357/ref=sr_1_1 ).
I'm currently working on a non-fiction book about some unusual events during the Sengoku Period, which challenge the conventional narratives of that period.
